Get low cost professional legal advice

All of our services are billed at £60 per hour or on an agreed fixed-fee basis.

Initial Review

No matter how complex your case is, we will carry out a comprehensive review and provide you with a document which sets out the legal and factual issues that need to be dealt with. We will give you detailed advice on potential defences to the allegations that you are facing.

We will also explain the process that your regulator will follow. Even if you have already received a notice from your regulator or proceedings have started, we can still assist.

Case Preparation

We prepare your case, including dealing with the regulator on your behalf, compiling evidence and bundles and drafting any legal arguments that are necessary.

Representation

If your case is going to be heard by an FTP panel our lawyers can represent you at the hearing.

Free counselling

As part of our commitment to mental health, we provide all of our clients with free counselling to support you through the fitness to practise process.

About us

We are a not-for-profit organisation established in 2022 to provide affordable legal assistance through a dedicated team of qualified lawyers and trainee lawyers who specialise in healthcare regulation. Our work is part-funded by innovative partnerships with leading UK universities.

We understand the stress that comes with facing allegations made by your regulator. The financial pressures, the uncertainties of not knowing what the outcome will be and whether you can continue to work… and the combined effect that all of these things can have on your mental health. We also know that legal fees are just an additional worry on top of everything else.

Our fees are kept as low as possible so that we can help as many people as possible. Our work is covered by professional indemnity insurance. We are not required to be regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
