Khaled represented a nurse, C, who was accused of inaccurate recording and dishonesty while working as a PIP assessor. Following a seven-day hearing, the panel found some limited facts proven. Khaled made persuasive submissions that the dishonesty had been limited, that it had been fully remediated within a very short time of the alleged incident, and that C was not currently impaired on either the public protection or the public interest ground.

The panel accepted those submissions. It found that C had sufficient insight, and that her exemplary career over the intervening period of nearly five years pointed to her being able to practise safely, kindly and professionally. C was therefore not currently impaired, and the case concluded with no further action.
