A substantive hearing was scheduled in respect of allegations that F had acted dishonestly in relation to the recording of her achievements during a placement. When the sole witness supporting the university’s case failed to attend, Rebecca argued that this would significantly undermine F’s ability to challenge the case against her and that the hearing should be adjourned in order to secure witness attendance so that they could be properly cross examined. The panel accepted Rebecca’s submissions and adjourned the matter to a future date.
