Improving access to justice
Sequentus was established in 2022 by Khaled Hussain-Dupré, Ben Bardell and Sam Wilson, with the aim of making access to robust legal advice and representation more affordable for health and care professionals who are subject to professional discipline proceedings.
Part of our work is funded by innovative legal education programmes and our collaboration with leading UK universities and training providers. We create meaningful work experience opportunities for aspiring lawyers, helping them to develop the skills that they need in order to fulfil their potential.

Senior Case Lawyer // Director of Legal Education
Khaled is a qualified lawyer whose main area of practice is professional discipline. He is regularly instructed to represent healthcare professionals in complex fitness to practise proceedings and also leads the development of our legal education programmes.
Benjamin Bardell
Case Lawyer // Director
Ben focuses on case preparation for professional discipline hearings and specialises in the early resolution of regulatory concerns.
Jyoti Kumar
Junior Case Lawyer
Jyoti has a background in regulatory affairs and having completed the Bar training course now represents professional discipline clients in interim hearings and university FTP cases.

Niina is a CMC accredited mediator and leads our mediation team. Having completed the Bar training course Niina represents clients in interim hearings and university FTP cases.

Programme Director - FTP
As a practising nurse who is re-training to become a solicitor, Sam understands both facets of regulatory proceedings. She works tirelessly on behalf of clients, focussing on empowering registrants so that they can make informed choices about their case.
Rebecca March
Assistant Case Lawyer
Rebecca was called to the Bar in 2025, having successfully completed the Bar Training Course LLM, including a pro bono placement with Sequentus. Rebecca now handles a busy caseload of both professional and student FTP cases and represents clients at interim order hearings.
